Our business was launched in 1998.
We originally sold our products in what used to be a thriving flea market scene in South Africa. The flea markets allowed us exposure to local interior designers as well as the international market.
From here we began to supply well-known designers and shops such as Kim H Interior Design, Adrian Sparks’ Bright House Interiors, and Brian Lieb Interiors. Our products have been exported all over the world, including Burkina Faso, Switzerland, the U.S.A., the UK, and Australia.
We have also had our range of mirrors featured in the Lindiwe Sangweni-Siddo Sandton Towers Collection.
From here we branched out to doing the SARCDA Trade Exhibition and Decorex shows. After which we were featured in the Glen Grant Bright Young Things competition.
We were also invited to participate in the Salon Internationale en Afrique de L’Ouest craft exhibition and competition, held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
The products featured in the show then went on to tour Europe.
Our products have been featured in Plascon brochures, multiple issues of House and Leisure and the front cover of South African Home owner (April 2006 edition).
In 2016 we opened a shop on the Midlands Meander, which featured our product range as well as that of other local creators.
With the worldwide lockdown came the undermining and devastation of the creative and cultural sectors. This forced us to stop and re-evaluate. Now in a world inundated with mass-produced products, status updates, smart phones and connected gadgets, we exist to bring our world back to humanity, love, joy and beauty.
Three Spirit is a family of three creatives. Our strength lies in the flow between our individual visions, styles and skills. This is why our logo was designed around the concept of three free, interactive spirits. We also don’t hate that our name may be mistaken for Tree Spirit! We thrive on discovering new mediums and often develop new techniques to bring to life what lives in our imaginations.
We want to remind our customers to play, imagine, create and reconnect with nature. We endeavor to create pieces that are not only a joy to look at but invite the viewer to touch and experience their texture.
Each one of our pieces is individually crafted by hand.

These tea-light holders, affectionately known as Tree Candles, are made from ethically sourced trees. They are perfect for centerpieces, or just to have around the house for when load-shedding inevitably strikes again.
Not only are they safe and functional, but they are also stunning in their simplicity! Our tree candles currently come in sets of four. Each tree candle has a diameter of 75-100mm.

Our barked Tree Candles are a lovely natural variation of the above design. Each set is locally sourced from a nearby tree feller.
This means that these are subject to availability. Each set is unique in bark and texture. These are currently sold in sets of three.

Each of these tea-light holders is hand-carved, stained and polished. Some mimic nature and others are reminiscent of totem poles.
These can be ordered individually or in sets of two or three, and can be stained black or brown depending on your style.
Each t-light holder measures 70 x 70mm square.

The below product is a hand-carved Storm Lantern with glass inserts, and can be stained black or brown.
Simply remove the lid and place any candle of your choice inside. These are great for outdoor use as they prevent the candle within from being blown out by the wind. The storm lanterns come in two heights.

Our Incense Burners are inspired by tribal carvings, and can be stained black or brown depending on your décor.
Simply lift up the top of the burner to reveal four holes in the base, which can all have incense sticks inserted into them. Replace the top and watch as the smoke plumes out.
This design ensures that the ash is caught neatly within the burner.

Our Treasure Boxes are either hand-carved or engraved, and therefore can be personalized to a great extent!
Below are only a few variations of the designs that we have made. The lids come in two styles; hinged or fitted. Finishes include polished brown and black or painted contrasting black and white.

These are carved from a blend of sand and wax. This diverse product can be ordered with or without poured wax, to make a stunning, mess-free candle, or a planter.
Let your creativity run wild! Each Sand Candle is cast from a basic mold and hand-carved to create distinct, functional sculptures. We have two amazing creatives who carve these, therefore the style and patterns vary greatly!

Gorgeous Miniature Stables handcrafted with love. With built in lights, these are ideal to use as night lights, book ends or a quaint home for miniature horses. Each stable is personalized by adding your horses name onto the name plate
featured above the doorway.
We currently make two designs. Design one includes a typical stable door and front window,
while design two features a double barn door, as well as a skylight.
Both designs feature two side windows, a shavings covered floor and a battery pack hidden on the back panel.
Each stable typically features similar accessories including; a water trough, a bucket, a broom,
two feed bags, built in feed bin and a shelf with assorted items placed on it.
*Please note that as these are hand-crafted from natural elements, no two stables will ever be the exact same.
